Melville Heights is only part of the Melville Community. A short stroll down a private street is Melville Gardens a licensed level 1 Residential Care Facility and you'll also come across Melville Lodge on your travels, a level 2 Long Term Care facility also licensed by the NS Dept of Health. You'll find yourself at ease on our many paved walking paths throughout the community, allowing you to take in the beauty of our professionally landscaped gardens.
Also located in the Melville community is the Melville Ridge Professional Center. For the convenience of our residents, they will find a Lawton's Drug Store where our residents can pick up any medication they might need, as well as Physicians, Physiotherapists, and a Denturist who are available by appointment.

With all of the amenities available to our residents, Melville Heights even feels like it's own little community with so many services right outside your door, you'll think you're in your old neighbourhood, except everything that you need is much closer. Having your hair professionally styled, going to see a movie and fine dining in your favorite restaurant just got a whole lot easier! We even have a multi-denominational chapel which our residents enjoy attending on their day of worship.
